Sialon bonded SiC Bricks are made from high quality silicon carbide, industrial silicon powder and alumina powder as raw materials, sintered at about 1,500℃ by nitridation solid solution reaction. Compared with Si3N4 bonded SiC products, the Sialon bonded SiC bricks are characterized with good alkai corrosion resistance, slag resistance and have been successfully used in many BF.
