High chrome brick, which is characterized with high corrosion resistance and good high temperature mechanical properties, is mainly used as the working linings of the coal water pressurized slurry gasifier, petrol coke pressurized gasifier and other melting devices where acid or alkali slag corrosion is serious.
So far, the high chrome brick produced by LIRR has been used in the coal water slurry gasifier in more than 30 plants with excellent performance. The effective life of bricks working on the imported coal water slurry gasifier is about 10000 h and the maximal service life reaches 23000 h.
